Is this digital media professional practice program only available in Mumbai?

What qualification do I need to apply for a digital media course?
Any graduate in any field may apply.

Is there an age limit?
No. There is not.

Does one need work experience?
No.

How many young digital media professionals will there be?
The jury will select 50 candidates, who they think have the potential to shine in the industry.

What stipend will I receive in the last 2 months of the professional practice programme?
You will receive a stipend of Rs. 7,000 per month.

When does the Ignition Digital Media Professional Practice Programme start?
The first batch started on July 26th, 2010. The next batch will be announced soon.

Will I be confirmed a job at the end of the programme?
Yes, you will be guaranteed a job at the end of the programme.

What salary can I expect once I get placed?
You will receive a salary based on the industry standards at the time, which could be approx. Rs. 2.5–5 lacs per annum. It will depend on your performance as well as the organisation that you are getting placed at.

Can I keep my laptop after the programme is over?
Yes. The laptop belongs to you.

Where will the programme take place?
The Ignition training will take place at Lower Parel, Mumbai.

What are the timings of the classes?
Monday to Thursday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Do we have an off during the week?
Friday is a holiday.

What are the payment options?
You can either pay the fees in instalments, or go for the option of easy EMIs. We have also entered an association with HDFC bank and Saraswat Bank so that you can avail of Education Loans.
